2 Okinawa sake selection

The first sake is “ZANPA SPARKLING”.
It is based on Awamori called “afterglow”.
It is Yuzu flavor (fruit juice 3%) and gas water.
It can be drunk without feeling alcohol because it is low as 5%.
There is little bitterness of Yuzu, and it is refreshing and very easy to drink.

The second sake is “Orion beer”.

Orion beer is a beer company in Okinawa. I can not find it in the supermarket in Tokyo.Orion beer is more fragrant than the normal beer.
The bitterness of the beer is reduced so I recommend it to those who do not like to drink beer.For alcohol, it’s 5% like other beers.

Snow Salt

Next is “Snow salt”.

Salt of Miyakojima is used under the concept of “leave the sea scent as it is”.
The ocean in Miyakojima is very beautiful thanks to the natural surroundings, and it also contains bitterns which are usually removed during salt production process.
Salt amount is less than usual salt, and contains much magnesium and potassium.

When I taste it, it was not as salty as normal salt.
In addition, the crystal is very fine, so it looks like real snow.
What I bought this time is a cooking bottle, a bottle that is easy to use for cooking.
It is easy to use because you can adjust the amount just by pressing the button and making the bottle upside down!

Salt of Ishigaki “Chinsuko”

Next, I’d like to introduce “Ishigaki’s Salt Chinsuko”.
Chinauko is a traditional sweets of Okinawa made with flour, sugar, lard as the main material.
It is a staple as Okinawa’s gift!
Salt of Ishigaki island is used as its name suggests.

The smell is like cookies, but the texture is more crisp than cookie and it is crunchy.
It is slightly salty, and the crush is good.
There are various kinds of Chinsuko in Okinawa.
Please try looking for your favorite!

Purple Sweet Potato Tart

The last thing to introduce is “Purple Sweet Potato Tart”.

This Purple Sweet Potato Tart won the honorary president’s award at the National Confectionary Expo.
It also won the Prefectural governor incentive award!
Purple Sweet Potato tart is also a staple as Okinawa‘s gift!

Purple color of the potato on the tart batter is very vivid!
The sweetness of the tarts and the purple potato is good, and it is moist.
When I ate it toasted for a few minutes, I was able to enjoy the sense of sweet smell and it becomes more soft!
Also, when I froze it and tried it, it was a bit hard but I felt the sweetness was suppressed a little.
I think it is the perfect way to eat it in the summer!
