The pad locks in your body’s natural fluids (exudate) to maintain a moist environment—essential for the moist healing method. This approach lets wounds heal naturally without forming scabs, helping your skin recover more smoothly.

Based on the simple idea of “Stick it on, let it be*, and heal!”, Kizu Power Pad™ has earned a place as a go-to item in households across Japan.

Its semi-transparent, textured design blends effortlessly into the skin, making it hardly noticeable even on bare skin—one reason it’s become a beauty favorite among those with a keen eye for skincare.

*“Let it be” refers to maintaining a moist healing environment.

With its compact packaging and wide range of sizes, Kizu Power Pad™ can handle cuts and scrapes of all shapes and sizes. Not sure which size to choose? Just flip the box over—there’s a life-size guide on the back to help you pick the perfect fit for your wound.

What is Moist Healing (Moist Wound Therapy)?

*The following section includes information sourced from the official website.

*Images are for illustrative purposes only.

Moist healing is a method that supports the body’s natural healing power by keeping wounds from drying out.

By sealing the wound completely with Kizu Power Pad™, the area is protected from air exposure and external irritation, helping to reduce pain. This sealed, moist environment also allows your body’s natural fluids (exudate) to work more effectively—speeding up the healing process.

Because the entire surface is a pad, it can cover larger wounds than a “regular bandage”* of the same size.

*Compared to standard BAND-AID® products (classified as general-purpose adhesive bandages).

Here’s what the wound looks like on day four after applying the Kizu Power Pad™.

See that white, raised area? That’s actually a good sign—it means the moist healing environment is working as intended. You can leave the pad on for up to five days*, depending on the condition of the wound.

And because it’s waterproof, you don’t have to worry about removing it when you shower or bathe—another big plus for everyday comfort.

*Be sure to check the pad and the wound every 2–3 days to monitor its condition.

Important Tips for Safe Use

How to Use It Properly

STEP 1: Rinse the wound gently with clean tap water before applying.

STEP 2: Warm the pad between your hands before use—this helps it stick better.

STEP 3: After applying, press your hand gently over the pad to ensure a snug fit.

Recommended for:

Scrapes, cuts, scratches, chapped skin, hangnails, and shoe blisters.

Not recommended for:

Wounds that are infected or at risk of infection, acne, eczema, insect bites, skin inflammation, or any wounds caused by scratching those conditions. Avoid using on wounds with unknown causes, around the eyes, or on mucous membranes. Like standard adhesive bandages, it may not stick properly or protect wounds effectively on areas with thick body hair.

Precautions for Use

If your symptoms don’t improve after several days of use (even with replacing the pad), consult a doctor.

Please speak with a doctor or pharmacist before using if:

  • You are being treated for diabetes or circulatory disorders

  • You feel unusually fatigued or have a fever or other signs of poor overall health

  • You have allergies or have experienced skin reactions to medications or bandages in the past

Do not use it on children under 2 years old.

※ This product is a home-use wound dressing.
