Yogurt is being enjoyed all over the world. So how about trying some of Japan’s high quality yogurt for breakfast? Today, I will be introducing the [Premium Yuda Yogurt].
Characteristics of [Premium Yuda Yogurt]
The [Premium Yuda Yogurt (650 yen Tax Incl.) is a product of the Yuda Milk company based in Iwate prefecture in Tohoku.
I managed to buy one at the nearby supermarket and this is the packaging. As you can see, the yogurt is contained inside a resealable packaging which is uncommon among the normal yogurt products that are being sold in Japan; this is to ensure that it is easier to block out light and the smell of the yogurt. You can feel the commitment and effort put into the manufacturing of the production just from the superb packaging.
The contents inside the packaging look like this. Although, it look likes regular yogurt, it is surprisingly quite heavy. The packet weights 800g in total, so there is a whole lot of yogurt for you to enjoy. Also the yogurt is sweet and has a pleasant smell.
I took some yogurt out from the packaging to eat. As shown in the pictures, the yogurt is of a high quality and compared to normal yogurt, it is much more rich and elastic. It seems that the yogurt was made by adding fresh cream to yogurt made from milk produced in Iwate prefecture. Also, great efforts were taken during the sterilization process and in ensuring the smoothness of the yogurt. In addition, the yogurt contains Bifidobacterium BB 12 which travels to your intestines and enhances its immune system, making it a healthy treat for your body.

The yogurt has a really smooth texture and has a gentle sweetness but rich taste; most other yogurts, on the other hand, have quite the sour tinch. It almost felt like I was eating cream cheese, which I was not expecting. If I am not mistaken, the yogurt has a higher density compared to normal yogurts. Due to this, I think many will be satisfied even with a small portion per serving, because of the heaviness of the yogurt. Yogurts are well known to be healthy food, so perhaps it may be helpful to those who are on diet too.
