Souvenirs you can buy at Narita Airport

Hello! This is Payke writer, yui.
I went on a trip and bought a souvenir but I failed…
Have you ever had the experience like this?
Since you’ll come all the way to Japan, I don’t want you to fail like that.
So, this time I will introduce 3 recommended souvenirs available at Narita Airport, including popular and new items!

Buono Casual Cheesecake

The first item is “Buono”.

This is a souvenir which is famous in Tokyo!
Let’s open the box and eat it!

It is like this in the picture when you take out from the box.
I took out one box and opened it

It has three layers of pound batter, cheese, and pound batter.
The pound batter is very moist and the cheese is strong.
When I ate at room temperature, the cheese was a little bit hard so I heated it for 10 seconds in the microwave.
The cheese melted and the pound batter softened. It was delicious!
I recommend heating it up with microwave.
You can buy it at Narita Airport 1st and 2nd Terminal.
This time, I introduced the one with 10 pieces and its price was 1080 yen (tax included).
Besides it, there are 6 pieces and 15 pieces ver. There are also strawberry cheesecake flavor and tiramisu flavor.
It will last for about 2 months and a half.

Peanuts Monaka

The next item is “Peanuts Monaka (bean-jam-filled wafers)”.

Peanuts is a famous product of Chiba prefecture (Narita airport is there).

When you remove the plastic lid, there is a cute Peanuts Monaka which the face, hands, and feet are drawn.
This character is called “Pea-chan”.

I cut it in half.
There is peanuts paste in peanut shell-like Monaka.
It has lots of flavors.
It is so sweet.
Since it is soft, it will be crushed easily if you grasp it strongly so please be careful.
You can buy it at Narita Airport 1st and 2nd terminal.
I introduced 4 pieces one which is 486 yen (tax included).
8 pieces and 16 pieces one are also sold.
It only lasts for about two weeks so please eat it fast.

CACAO TROIS

The last thing to introduce is CACAO TROIS.

CACAO TROIS is a new product released on December 19, 2017!

When you open the box, there are four small boxes inside.

I’ll try it.

The word TROIS means 3 in French.
As its name suggests, it is clearly divided into three layers.
The top is chocolate sable, the middle is caramel chocolate, and the bottom is chocolate brownie.

You can see that it has 3 layers inside.
Sable is crispy and brownie is moist.
Caramel chocolate is very rich but I don’t feel caramel so much.
You can buy it at Narita Airport 1st and 2nd Terminal.
I introduced 4 pieces one which is 1080 yen (tax included).
9 pieces version for 2376 yen (including tax) is also on sale.
It will last for about 3 weeks.
These are popular and new souvenirs you can buy at Narita Airport.
Please try it as a reference for selecting souvenirs!
