To those who are determined to not get sunburnt this summer, I will introduce you to noteworthy Japanese sunscreens! I hope you will use this as a guide to your sunscreen shopping.

This is a new product of 2018 that protects the skin against UV rays while bringing out the transparency of the skin. Because it is so popular, I had to go around 3 drugstores to find it!
Conventional sunscreens are a white cream, but this sunscreen has a light pink tint. This color will help brighten the dull areas of your skin and make your complexion one tone brighter.
The cream has a very smooth texture and a little goes a long way. It really makes the skin one tone brighter too. There is pearlescence in the formula, but when you apply it onto the skin, it gives the skin a translucent look. The cream has a slightly sweet fragrance, and it puts me in a better mood♪ Because the packaging is so cute, you would definitely want to carry this around in the summer!
SKIN AQUA【Perfect UV Stick】

This is a stick type sunscreen that can be quickly applied without getting your hands dirty. This is great for moments when you forget to wear sunscreen, for example, when you are commuting. These sunscreen sticks are quite rare, and it was the first time I purchased one.
It applies on very thin and it doesn’t really smell like sunscreen.
With about 2cm in diameter, you may be worried if you can properly apply it, but this would be convenient to apply on the bridges of the nose and cheeks♪

In Japan, cream or spray-type sunscreens are common, but this is a rare oil-type sunscreen. Because it is a sunscreen oil, it will repel water and sweat and last for a long time.
It is a transparent oil with a slightly yellow tint, so you wouldn’t have to worry about the white streaks that sunscreen tends to leave. Many have also said that because it is transparent, you wouldn’t have to worry about it staining your clothes.
Although it does feel a bit sticky because it has an oil base, it does not feel uncomfortable, and it does not feel much different from cream-type sunscreens. Because it is waterproof, this is recommended especially if you are going to the pool, beach, or doing sports!
