Add a little excitement to your daily life. 5 Selections of Cute, Japanese-style Stationary

Do you send your family or your lover a letter or a postcard during your travels?
When you receive something from overseas that you have never seen before, you feel excited, right?
Also, it may be fun to use those unfamiliar things in your everyday life.
That being said, this time, I will introduce you to stationary with cute, Japanese patterns ♪

Tateyokosen

First, I will introduce “Tateyokosen.”

The name “Tateyokosen” comes from the idea that these stationary (binsen) can be used horizontally (yoko) or vertically (tate).
I purchased a pattern with bells, but there are also patterns with “swallows,” “geta (traditional Japanese footwear),” and “ume (Japanese plums).”
Because every single one of them uses a pastel pallet, softness is expressed.

Inside is sturdy, lined paper with lines that are helpful when you want to write straight.
This lined paper is Japanese paper, so it has a slight sheen.
Writing on Japanese paper feels different than writing on normal paper.
Everyone should try writing on this type of paper.
Tateyokosen is 410 yen (tax included).

Japanese Postcards

Next, I will introduce Japanese postcards.

The design I chose this time is one with a cat sleeping beside a kotatsu (table with a heater underneath that is covered with a blanket).
There are many other designs like “Cherry Blossom,” “Parakeet,” and “Chrysanthemum.”

These Japanese postcards do not have a design on the back side.
If you look at the postcard under a light, you can see that there are “ears” (edges/border) on it.
Since it is Japanese paper, it feels a bit rougher than ordinary paper.
When you come to Japan, why not send a message to someone special with these Japanese postcards?
I think that they will be cute to take home and arrange as a decoration in your room as well!
The Japanese postcard is 270 yen (tax included).

Mamedayori

Next, I will introduce “Mamedayori.”

The pattern I chose this time is “kikou (tortoise shell).”
There are other designs like “Sora-mame (broad bean)” and “Daruma doll.”

These mamedayori are made from Japanese paper too.
They are about half the size of the Japanese postcards.
How about expressing your gratitude on these mamedayori letter sets?
They a perfect size for a simple message.
Mamedayori is 378 yen (tax included).

Mamefusen

Next, I will introduce these Mamefusen (mini page markers).

This time, I chose the “Daruma doll” design.
The colorful design caught my attention.
There are also designs like “Omusubi (Rice ball)” and “Mt. Fuji.”
Coming from its name “mame” (‘small’ like beans), they are smaller than your average page marker.

I think it is adorable if you write memos on or beside the Daruma doll, as seen in the photo.
They add color to my notes and put me in a brighter mood ♪
The Mamefusen are 410 yen (tax included).

Masking Tape

Lastly, I will introduce a masking tape.

The pattern I chose this time is “Ninja.”
There are other patterns like “Tower” and “Cat” as well.

On the ninja pattern, there are illustrations of a ninja jumping and throwing shurikens (ninja stars).
I think that it will be cute to use for decoration and wrapping gifts.
Using it in your schedule book as page markers is also ◎
The masking tape 280 yen (tax included).
And those were the 5 selections of Japanese-style stationary!
