Hello, this is Payke writer LINA!
Do you guys like Japan’s national character, Hello Kitty? I love Hello Kitty! This time, I want to introduce you to Haneda and Narita airport’s limited-edition Tokyo Banana collaboration with Hello Kitty as well as the limited time Hello Kitty goods you can buy at Tokyo Station’s Hello Kitty Shop!

【Only at Haneda Airport・Narita Airport】”The AppleCake from Ginza”

Prices: set of 4 for 600 yen (tax excluded), set of 8 for 1100 yen (tax excluded)
The dreamy collaboration between the classic Japanese gift, Tokyo Banana, and Japan’s popular national character, Hello Kitty, is this “The AppleCake from Ginza.” The apples are meant to symbolize Hello Kitty’s height and weight, and because Hello Kitty’s favorite food is mom’s apple pie, Tokyo Banana created its first ever apple flavor and used it in the collaborative confectionaries.

The packaging and the cakes are both very cute♡
The inside is filled with milky jelly and a hard-textured apple jam. These tasted refreshing, something very different from the regular Tokyo Banana, and they were delicious! These are available only at Haneda and Narita airport, so if you are using those airports, please don’t forget to check them out!

【Tokyo Character Street】Hello Kitty Goods

In Tokyo station, there is an area where all of Japan’s popular characters are lined up called the “Tokyo Character Street.” There, you can go to the Hello Kitty Shop and buy adorable goods that are only available in Tokyo!

This is the very popular key holder. Here, Hello Kitty is running around the large “TOKYO” logo. This is so adorable; I instantly fell in love with it! I recommend getting this as a reminder of your travels in Japan and putting them on your suitcase or your bags♪

This is a Hello Kitty miniature plush doll. Hello Kitty wearing kimono-like patterned clothes really remind me of Japan.
