Various new products are constantly being released by Japanese confectionery manufacturers in accordance with the seasons. Currently, in the period entering into summer, refreshing chocolate mint snacks are lined up at shop fronts. Today, I would like introduce 4 chocolate mint snacks that are available at all convenience stores nationwide.

Morinaga [Koeda Chocolate mint]

First on the list is the Koeda chocolate snack from Morinaga! Koeda is a snack that has been around for a long time, since 1971 to be exact, and this time they have released a chocolate mint flavor limited edition version.

Inside the box are 11 small packages containing 4 pieces of Koeda each; it is pretty convenient when you want to divide the snack with your friends. Actually, all chocolate mint snacks made by Morigana has a mint level (1~3) displayed on the front of the packaging to indicate the strength of the minty taste; it just so happens that the chocolate mint Koeda is level 1, making it the least minty of all the snacks being introduced today. So I would recommend this snack if you are not too accustomed to minty snacks.
