Spring 2026 Limited Edition: Starbucks “SAKURA” Beverages

In Japan, spring is all about new beginnings—and nothing symbolizes that more than cherry blossoms. Every year, Starbucks Japan’s wildly popular SAKURA Series returns, and for 2026, the theme is “Sakura × White Peach.”
This year’s lineup blends the soft floral aroma of cherry blossoms with the juicy sweetness of white peach. The result? Limited-edition drinks that let you soak up spring vibes even before the blossoms are in full bloom.

Available nationwide at Starbucks stores across Japan (excluding select locations) from mid-February. Quantities are limited, so don’t wait too long.

2026’s Must-Try Limited Beverages

This year’s SAKURA Series features three drinks.

In previous years, the classics were the Sakura Frappuccino® and a Sakura hot drink. But 2026 marks a first in the series’ history: a sparkling soda drink joins the lineup.

From dessert-like indulgence to light and refreshing, there’s something for every mood.

Sakura Blooming White Peach Frappuccino®

The star of the series, bursting with spring at first glance. White peach–flavored jelly and creamy milk pudding are layered together, then topped with sakura-flavored sauce and delicate shaved chocolate. The beautiful layers make it just as enjoyable to look at as it is to drink.

The first sip brings fruity white peach sweetness, followed by the richness of milk, and finally a soft cherry blossom aroma that lingers. With every sip, the flavor evolves—making this Frappuccino® feel like a dessert in a cup.

Another highlight this year is the option to customize the flavor. If you prefer a stronger peach taste, you can skip the sakura sauce. If you’d like a more pronounced cherry blossom note, simply add extra sakura sauce for an even more spring-inspired finish.

Sakura Blooming Latte (Hot / Iced)

A classic spring latte that lets you fully savor the flavor of sakura. Espresso and milk are layered with cherry blossom notes, creating a gentle sweetness balanced by a subtle hint of saltiness.

Each cup is carefully topped by a barista with the wish, “May the cherry blossoms bloom,” inspired by the image of petals opening in spring. It’s a drink that feels like spring at first glance—and it’s guaranteed to look beautiful in photos.

The hot version allows the aroma to bloom more softly and fully, while the iced version offers a clean, refreshing finish that’s easy to sip.

Perfect for a relaxing break between sightseeing spots.

A highly anticipated newcomer, making its first appearance in the series this year. This light sparkling drink brings together the sweetness of white peach and the fragrance of sakura with refreshing carbonation.

On the first sip, you’ll taste the bright, juicy sweetness of white peach, followed by crisp bubbles that leave a clean, refreshing finish. Since it’s dairy-free, it’s a great option if you’re in the mood for something lighter.

The soft pink color and lively fizz look especially beautiful in natural light—perfect for taking along to a park or enjoying by the riverside during cherry blossom season.
