In Japan, January 15th is celebrated as ‘Strawberry Day,’ marking the start of a season filled with delightful strawberry-themed treats. During this time, convenience stores across the country host ‘Strawberry Fairs,’ debuting an exciting lineup of sweets that showcase the beloved fruit. It’s a perfect time to indulge in Japan’s love for strawberries!

This time, we tried three strawberry desserts purchased from Seven-Eleven. Each dessert was evaluated based on two criteria: “strawberry flavor” and “flavor balance.” We’ll share our impressions of each one after tasting them!

Finally, we have this delightful treat: a dorayaki with fluffy and moist pancake-like layers, filled with strawberry whipped cream, a sweet and tangy sauce with strawberry pieces, and smooth white bean paste.
