Shop smart! With our handy features to understand product prices
As travel to Japan was banned on October last year, Japanese travel fever has been building.
If you’re using Payke, you might be preparing to travel or maybe travelling right now.
One of the joys of travel in Japan has to be the shopping.
You’ll find many high quality products in Japan from food to cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
In which case,
・When you’re making your list of souvenirs, do you ask “about how much will this cost?”
・When you’re browsing the shop, have you thought what you wanted to buy seemed higher than the retail price?
If it’s a well known product it might be easy to search for it online, but for lesser known foreign goods it’s quite a challenge.
The Payke app will help you make sense of this with the handy “Store price reference.”
Since 3/17/2023, “reference prices” have been added to product info.

■How to see prices
You can see them if you touch “Tap here” on the product information.
There are multiple ways to view the product information but there are 2 main methods we can show.
